I’m always looking for something new to challenge myself both physically and mentally, and when I stepped into my first H-Kore class with Allison just over a year ago, a challenge was just what I got! A workout on the Megaformer is unlike any other, and was the perfect complement to my existing training routine. Since then I've become completely hooked -- and it's not just because of the physical results. Sure, I feel fitter, stronger, and more flexible than before, but I'm also feeling more focused and balanced in my workouts. I've gone from being barely able to hold a 30-second plank to being finally able to (almost) keep up with all the snakes, mermaids, dancing bears (you name it) for the 60-90 seconds. And the trainers pay such close attention that there's always a new stretch goal for you to work towards...
My favourite classes on the schedule are the KettleKore classes! Although I had worked with kettlebells before, Eleanor's classes take them to a whole new level, mixing up explosive blocks of strength and cardio with slow and controlled work on the machines. There's no better way to end a Thursday, or to start a Sunday!
From my first class at H-Kore until now, the pull of working out here remains the same. The small class sizes and team of knowledgeable, passionate trainers ensure that you get the attention you need to push yourself towards your goals, and up to and beyond your limits. And the community vibe you get from everyone here, from trainers to front desk staff to fellow clients, makes everyone feel like part of your fitness family :)
