  • Many people mistake Lagree for Pilates because both use machines that look similar—the Megaformer (Lagree) and the Reformer (Pilates). However, these two workouts are fundamentally different in their approach, intensity, and results.

    Key Differences:

    Intensity: Lagree is much more intense than traditional Pilates. It’s designed to push your muscles to fatigue for maximum sculpting and strengthening.

    Machine: Pilates uses a Reformer, while Lagree is performed on a Megaformer, which has a unique resistance system that enables dynamic and challenging movements.

    Muscle Fatigue: Lagree emphasizes slow-twitch muscle fiber activation, meaning it works muscles until they shake, promoting endurance and strength.

    Cardio & Strength: Pilates focuses on flexibility and alignment, whereas Lagree incorporates cardio, endurance, and strength training all in one session.

    No Breaks: Lagree classes have constant movement with minimal rest, keeping the heart rate elevated throughout the workout.

    Focus:

    🔹 Pilates centers around breathing, precision, control, and flexibility, making it great for rehabilitation and alignment.

    🔹 Lagree is all about muscle endurance, strength building, and core stabilization while maintaining a high-intensity, low-impact experience.

  • All first-timers at H-Kore MUST arrive 15 minutes before class. Our trainers need time to explain our megaformer machines and check your history/current injuries that require modifications. Late comers will not be permitted to attend. Late comers are strictly not allowed to attend class for safety purposes.

  • Late comers are not permitted to class. The reasons are:

    • If you arrive late, our trainers do not have time to check in, go over injuries/health conditions, in order to give you appropriate modifications.

    • Our classes are only 45 min and arriving late means that you will miss a block of exercises on one side of the body, which may lead to injury.

    • Late comers interrupt the class flow and we need to be fair to all clients.

  • Please note that we operate a 12-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy. Should you cancel or change your your class within this period, your credit will be forfeited.

  • Dress to sweat! Regular gym or yoga wear is advised. No shoes are required for any of our workouts; although shoes are recommended for HYROX. You will receive a pair of H-Kore non-slip socks with your trial class, please note you are NOT allowed to take a MegaKore class if you are not wearing non-slip socks. This ensures a safe workout and and the Megaformers stays clean! If you forget your socks you will be charged for a new pair.

    We provide small towels for class and large towels for showering afterwards. We have toiletries and hair dryers. Please bring a water bottle with you, however, if you forget, we do have water for sale.

    Mobile phones are not permitted in the studio – please keep it in your locker.

  • If a class is fully booked, you will see a description of "Waitlist Only" below the Trainers name. You will still see "BOOK NOW" but that does not mean the booking is confirmed unless you receive an email confirmation for the class.

    Add your name to the waitlist by clicking "BOOK NOW" alongside the class you wish to take. If a spot becomes available you will automatically booked in.

    The waitlist will not automatically book anyone within 12-hours of the class, so we recommend checking the schedule or calling us if you still wish to attend.

  • Need a little privacy? Want to perfect your moves or accelerate your results? We have several private class options available, including one to one and duet classes. We also recommend private classes for anyone with injuries or first timers who are pre- or post-natal. Our training is renowned for sports rehabilitation and injury prevention.   • This varies from one person to the next, and depends on your fitness level before starting H-Kore. The MegaKore workout on the Megaformer is designed to create muscle fatigue, at which point you may need to rest and recover. On average, clients come a minimum of a 3x a week, some committed clients come everyday!

  • This workout is for anyone. If you are pregnant and new to H-Kore we would love to meet you.

    Book in for a Private Training session to familiarise yourself with the workout.

    If you are a regular client and pregnant, check with your Doctor, then let your trainer know before class to ensure they offer adjustments for movements where necessary.

    You are also welcome to join in any MegaKore Basics class if you have been with us before. Just be sure to arrive 10 minutes before class, so that our trainers can provide your modifications before class.

  • All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on our services or products. Services cannot be transferred or shared with another individual.

    In the event of a dispute, H-Kore reserves the right to final decision.

  • If you have left your personal belongings in our studios, kindly call/email us to confirm an item has been found and we will keep it for you to pick up. Please note: all lost and found items are kept for no longer than 30 days.

  • We LOVE pets and totally understand you might wish to bring your furry friend to wait while you are exercising. But we kindly ask you to leave them at home, as some people are allergic to fur or are simply afraid or not comfortable around pets. Please be considerate of others.
